Present perfect continuous/progressive
Present perfect continuous is used
to talk about an action that started in the past and it is continuing in the
present time.
For example, I have been working on
weekends.
In the example, the action started
in the past and it lats until the present time.
We can use the present perfect
continuous to make questions and sentences. Use the following structure to make
sentences in present perfect continuous.
Structure for questions
(Wh question) + Have/Has + pronoun +
been + verb in present continuous
Have you been watching too much TV?
How long has she been working as a
teacher?
What have you been doing these days?
Structure for sentences
I have been watching my favorites
series/ I haven’t been watching TV.
She has been working as a teacher
for 5 years
I’ve been working a lot.
